Hi Samira. Unusual subject choice, very nicely photographed. Great colours and colour contrast. Just one small observation about the fork; I think you need to either have it totally in shot - not necessarily the whole fork, just to play a full part, or leave it out completely, as it is a touch distracting kind of stuck in "no man's land" here. Maybe it would have been nice turned around and stuck into that bottom piece of scallop. All in all though, a super cookbook style photo. Kindest regards, Neil.
Samira: I see what you mean. I will post another photo at some point (as Abi seems to not have enjoyed this one), and you'll be able to see in that one why the fork looks so oddly placed. Thanks for your words.
Samira: I'm sorry you don't agree with Louis... As I was saying Neil, I'll put another photo of this meal just for you sometime. Thanks for you honesty!
Interesting comments allround. Fortunately i am sitting back from the key board and the drooling lands on my shoes.
I like it a lot! The fork conveys motion (gonna eat this) to me. A great one.
Samira: I did eat it. Have you ever had ceviche before? It's the kind of thing that, like sushi, you enjoy visually so much that you take some time before you start eating. And once you start, the visual appeal turns into palate appeal, and you just cannot contain yourself from drooling. Move your shoe, Louis!
